Some work, some don't, but at the end of it all it's not the end product that matters, but rather the process of self-learning and how much you've grown. So don't worry about the choice of Columbia over Penn. Everything will work out fine eventually, but even if it doesn't, you'll still know that you've been imparted enormous amounts of knowledge from CC.
